Iran at the Philakorea 2002 World Stamp Exhibition



http://d2cdm2jef6kgc7.cloudfront.net/stamps/2002/IR/IR017.02.jpgTo commemorate their participation at the Philakorea 2002 World Stamp Exhibition, Iran Post issued a set of four stamps series of poisonous herb plants on August 2, 2002. 

The herb plants depicted on issued stamp are  Hyoscyamus muticus, Frittillaria, Calotropis procera,  and Ranuculus. All stamps have same face value.
 
 

Hyoscyamus muticus

Hyoscyamus muticus is  poisonous herb whose leaves are a source of hyoscyamine. Hyoscyamus is a small genus of flowering plants in the nightshade family, Solanaceae. The eleven species it contains are known generally as the henbanes. All of them are toxic. Hyoscyamus muticus  is one of the  species of  Hyoscyamus genus.

50th Anniv. of the diplomatic relationship between Việt Nam and Cuba

On 2 December 2010, the Vietnam Post issued the stamp series for celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Cuba. The issue stamp only one  which depicts flags and the specific flora  of both countries.   The other issues are two official first day cover which depict logo of relationship of both countries.

The 2nd of Hongkong Stamp Sheetlet at Hongkong 2001.

Hongkong Post have many souvenir sheets issued in conjuncted with the Hongkong 2001, International Stamp Exhibition. The above shown is the Stamp Sheetlet Series no.2, depicted flora and nature background and one stamp of bridges series on $10. The logo of Hongkong 2001 has been marked on the sheet.

Australia - Japan Joint Issue 2006.

On year 2006, Australia Post and Japan Post has collaborated to release a joint issue stamp that depicted their culture, flower (flora), fauna, and infrastructure .

Australia Post released a souvenir sheet which composed one stamp depicted Kakadu Wetlands and its flora fauna. This sheet issued as commemorative stamp for their participation at the International Philatelic Exhibition Pacific 1997.

Japan Post and India Post has joint issue the special stamps, miniature sheet composed of 10 pieces stamps depicted the heritage buidling, culture. flora and fauna of both countries.The Taj Mahal is one of the new Seven Wonder Heritage Worlds shown in this sheet.
