Carpets and Tapestries - Joint Issue by Turkey and Belgium

To strengthen the relationship of state and culture of both countries, Turkey and Belgium issued a joint stamp series, on June 22, 2005. Stamps issue describes the cultural products of both countries, carpets and tapestries.

Turkish Carpets

Turkish carpets (also known as Anatolian), whether hand knotted or flat woven, are among the most well known and established hand crafted art works in the world.The majority of them represent geometric and stylized forms that are similar or identical to other historical and contemporary designs.

Turkey – Indonesia Joint Issue 2008

Turkey and Indonesia Post Office collaborated to issue the stamps depicted their cultures, flora, fauna and development of the infrastructure. The stamp sheet has issued on year 2008.

Turkey – Japan Joint Issue 2010

Turkey and Japan has collaborated to join issue the stamps as shown in the picture. The stamp sheet depicted the landscape, culture of their countries with background of Japanese traditional house and Fuji mountain as distinctive landscape of Japan.

Turkey – Thailand Joint Issue.

To commemorate the 50th Diplomatic relationship with Thailand, Turkey have issued stamps depicted the specific building of both countries.
